Rick Gabe - Vocals, Keyboard, Guitar, Percussion, Arrangements
Rick Gabe is a vocalist, vocal instructor, multi instrumentalist, composer and arranger across multiple genres. Beyond his solo shows, he has performed within numerous bands in the Philly region including Just in Time, Horizon and Shades of Silver. He is a composer of original music in the rock, folk, R&B and Jazz genres and integrates some of his songs into the trio’s live repertoire. Rick’s many performance venues include Ortliebs Jazzhaus, Time, Temple University, The University of Pennsylvania and Lincoln Financial Field.
Steve Wattenmaker - Bass, Vocals, Arrangements
A graduate of Philadelphia College of Performing Arts, Steve began playing in garage bands when he was 14 years old. He played professionally for 11 years in the Philly and Jersey Shore area clubs and Casinos, including Caesars, Resorts, Playboy and Harrahs, among others. While playing full time, Steve earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Temple. After graduating from Temple, Steve left the club scene and played weddings and corporate parties for another 14 years. His influences include James Jamerson, Larry Graham, Louis Johnson, Jaco, Rocco, and Sir Paul.
Bill Zappasodi – Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Arrangements
Bill Zappasodi has been an active performer and arranger in the Philadelphia-area music scene for over four decades. Throughout the 1970s, ’80s, and ’90s, he performed with numerous jazz and contemporary combos, developing a versatile style that bridges traditional and modern genres.
For 18 years, Bill served as guitarist and arranger for Bandstand, where he wrote and produced a wide range of arrangements for the ensemble. He also arranged and co-produced the group’s only LP of original and commercial material. During his tenure with Bandstand, the group held a long-standing residency at Resorts International Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, performing as headliners in the lounge for 12 years.
Bill studied guitar privately with jazz legend Pat Martino, and studied arranging and theory under Larry McKenna while attending the Community College of Philadelphia, further refining his skills in harmony and orchestration.
Today, Bill continues to combine his technical expertise with his lifelong passion for music, bringing a unique blend of artistry, precision, and innovation to every project he undertakes.
In his spare time he is still involved with programming, in addition to photography and biking.
